1975: 10 Songs You Need To Hear Before Their New Album Drops

2. The Man Who Married A Robot/Love Theme

From the sublime to the emotional to the... well, how do you even describe this?

Ok, so... this song is about a man who falls in love... with the Internet... and it isn't sung, it's read... by Siri. Stay with us here.

On paper this sounds like total rubbish and a waste of space on the album, but it's actually spectacular.

It's full of incredible lines - some hilarious, some heartbreaking - and ends with a real though-provoking statement on the way we live our lives.

It's revealed that the man at the centre of this story has passed away. The final lines of song say that he died in "his lonely house", the same description as is used at the beginning of the song. The final line of the track is "You can go on his Facebook", a humbling statement about the way our legacies will be left using modern technology.

"The Man Who Married A Robot" perfectly captures the band's sense of humour and continues the theme of taking a sideways look at modern life.

After all, the title of the entire album is A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, so this is probably the most appropriate song on the whole thing.
