Kings Of Leon: Ranking Their Albums From Worst To Best

1. Aha Shake Heartbreak

A fantastic album from start to finish, Aha Shake Heartbreak is a modern classic. It showed a band who had looked back on their first album, took their recognisable and unique sound and added more flair and fun to it.  Where Youth & Young Manhood needed variety, Aha Shake Heartbreak had plenty of it.

'The Bucket' is an example of a great song; an instantly recognisable riff, an infectious rhythm and a song that captured an audience perfectly. Another single from the album, 'Four Kicks' is a punk fuelled, all-out rock song that for 2 minutes refuses to let up. But what about the songs of variety?

'Day Old Blus' is an oddly endearing song that sees the majority of it played on a single acoustic guitar, a novelty from Kings Of Leon and 'Milk' is a subtle and delicate song that allows singer Caleb Followill's unique voice to break through.

Aha Shake Heartbreak is Kings Of Leon's best. It's fun, carefree and remains a favourite album of indie and rock fans everywhere. To every person who was a teen in 2004, it's impossible to listen to the album and not be transported back to those days. Timeless.
