10 Joe Rogan Experience Guests Who Have Died

1. Anthony Bourdain (1956 - 2018)

The news of Anthony Bourdain's death was a hard pill to swallow. Effortlessly cool, always courteous and never one to shy away from a new experience, Bourdain seemed to be that most rarest of public figures: a humble man.

His infectious infatuation with people, cultures and cuisines from around the world made him the perfect host for a culinary travel show. One of two things happens after you finish an episode of Parts Unknown. Either you set about in the kitchen trying to recreate one of the delicious dishes he just exposed you to, or you start Googling cheap flights to whatever country the episode featured.

This guy made street food popular again. He wasn't fussed about the high flyer eateries or $400 steaks; Bourdain valued the simple things like home cooked food, warm hospitality and an authentic experience.

He had such an admiration for those who spread joy through good food and good hospitality. You knew whatever this guy was searching for it was more than just the food he talked about. His genuine quest for some kind of connection was palpable.
