2. Star Wars Land Name

D23 kicked off by revealing a number of models for the upcoming Star Wars Land at Hollywood Studios. Fans were hoping to find out even more about the new area, and Disney did not disappoint.

The name of the land has finally been revealed, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

If you haven't already done so you might want to check out the images that came out of the land. As much as the land looks amazing, the interactive features that guests will explore will be incredible.

Your experience of this new land will be completely unique to you. Disney told us that when it comes to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge "your choices matter... you can earn a reputation". Should you be a great pilot you might get some "extra galactic credits coming your way" or "the boss might not be too happy" if you damage the Millennium Falcon. You never know if you really total the ship, you might end up with a Bounty Hunter on your tail.

The land will feature familiar characters including BB8, Chewbacca and members of the First Order. The old Star Wars Ride Captain Rex also has a new home at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. He is now a DJ in the Cantina.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2019, with Disneyland coming first.
