20 Tragically Unexpected Truths You Learn In Your Twenties

11. It's Ok To Fail

Perhaps this is one we should learn a lot earlier in our lives, but most of us won't understand the true value of failure until we hit our twenties. We all fail sometimes, whether that be at work, studying, in relationships or even at a hobby we want to be great at. But failure is not a problem, for if handled correctly, it can be the catalyst for future success. It's how we respond to failure that defines our character and ultimately leads to how others view us (and we view ourselves). Your twenties are the time when you realise you have failed €”and are still failing €” at certain things, but something positive can come of this. If you didn't put enough effort into a relationship for instance, and it collapsed, you have that experience to take forward and try to implement in the future.
