21 Awesome Primary School Memories All 90s Kids Share

12. Dogs In The Playground Making HELL Break Loose

reactiongifs.comreactiongifs.comIn the words of comedian Peter Kay, "everyone always remembers the day a dog ran into your school" - and how true that is! it would always be at playtime, during one of those overly competitive games of football between two rival classes. All of a sudden, a dog would launch itself at the ball and every single pupil would suddenly emerge to watch the carnage unfold. Kids would try to make the dog chase them, the dog would chew the ball (much to the anger of the kid whose ball it was) and more often than not some cocky little swine would end up getting bitten. Absolute pandemonium.

11. The Horror On Classmates' Faces When You Get To Leave Early For The Dentist

reactiongifs.comreactiongifs.comIt's 10am, you've only been in school for about an hour, and you put your hand up to inform your teacher that it's time for you to leave. WHAT?! The horror amongst your classmates, who envy you to the point of uncontrollable rage, can be felt for miles around - and you're only going to the dentist. And you'll be back before lunchtime. Anyone would think you'd been handed a million pound cash windfall and had told the entire class to f**k off.

10. Getting To Deliver The Register Or Run An Errand

reactiongifs.comreactiongifs.com"Who wants to run an errand for me?" Said the teacher. Cue thirty hands being raised at the speed of light. Seriously, any excuse to leave a lesson for a few minutes was taken with ecstatic enthusiasm (and make sure you walk slowly so it takes as long as possible to get back).

9. Notes In The Classroom

tumblrtumblrPrior to the age of the text message, if kids wanted to get a point across to someone on the other side of the classroom, the classic "note" would be passed around until it reached its intended recipient. Whether it was to let someone know who "fancied" them, to arrange a classic playground fight or to pass a rumour about the teacher ("he/she is a pervert!" etc) around the classroom, the folded paper note was the way to do it.
