The basic premise of the show was to reveal to citizens the regular activities of City Hall, including its current issues and updates. On November 8th, it was announced that all parties involved had "Mutually determined to conclude broadcasts." Six days after this announcement the TV channel Sun News first announced the broadcast of the TV show "Ford Nation" (Also hosted by Rob and Doug). The show was to give a weekly outlet for the Ford brothers to talk politics and address voters directly regarding allegations and calls for Rob to step down. Despite giving Sun News a much needed ratings boost, they decided to pull the plug just a day after the initial broadcast, citing a large amount of pushback from advertisers.
