10 Things You Didn't Know About The Tower Of Terror

2. A Haunted Tower

Tower of Terror
DisneyWorld

The Tower of Terror is a pretty creepy ride - the clue is in the name - and all of the theming is in keeping with that idea, from the run-down appearance of the hotel to the gloomy acting (at least, it's supposed to be acting) of the Cast Members. It's no surprise then that it is supposed to be haunted.

There are four loading platforms at the ride - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta - and the story goes that one of the Cast Members working as a bellhop had a heart-attack on platform D, dying there on the spot. Now he is said to haunt the rides that take off from that area.

This has caused reports of all manner of spooky goings-on when the employees are doing their final checks after the park closes to the public, inclide the lights going out, the music going on-and-off, and even a human-shaped figure appearing, to the point where Cast Members don't ride in Delta alone anymore.
