8. Philip Rivers/Eli Manning - New York Giants/San Diego Chargers

The 2004 Draft saw a huge trade on the day, as Eli Manning was drafted as the overall first pick to the San Diego Chargers, while Philip Rivers was picked up by the New York Giants, something that now feels like a strange alternate universe. Before the draft had even taken place though, Manning - via his agent - had made it known that he had absolutely no interest in moving to the west coast and playing for the Chargers. He was swapped on the day, and Rivers headed to San Diego along with a third round pick, plus first and fifth round picks for the 2005 Draft. Manning has two Super Bowl rings to his name, but the Chargers invested their picks wisely along with Rivers, and built a solid foundation.
