Lens signed earlier this week from Dynamo Kiev and it turned a lot of heads on Wearside. It was tough losing out on Wijnaldum to Newcastle (we were never officially interested in him, but it's still annoying when they get someone half decent) but the signing of Lens could potentially lift the club if he does well. He's already had success in the red and white stripes with PSV, which is a good omen, and he could well end up scoring up to or more than 10 goals for us this season, which is a godsend if you follow Sunderland at all.
