The Cheyenne-class model appeared in The Best Of Both Worlds, Part 2. The USS Ahwahnee was a four-nacelled ship with a saucer section similar to, but smaller than, that of the Galaxy-class ships.

The Ahwahnee was one of the luckier ships (and by one of, we mean one of two) to fight the Borg. With the exception of the Enterprise-D, it was the only ship to survive the Borg assault, as it was later seen listed as part of Picard's fleet in Redemption, part 2.

The studio model was designed by Ed Miarecki, and it was comprised of parts from commercially available Galaxy-class models, with four marker pens to make the nacelles.
