14. Douglas Station

Star Trek Douglas Station

Douglas Station serves as the main depot for Star Trek: Lower Decks, housing the Cerritos, supported by starships like the Van Citters, and even the Archimedes as well. Unfortunately, it also played host to the Texas-class starships, which left it in line for a world of pain.

Vice Admiral Buenamigo designed these ships to be fully self-sufficient and autonomous, effectively negating the need for a crew. While there were advantages to the idea of this, the execution left a lot to be desired. Buenamigo, so deep in his desire to hide any flaws in the technology, ordered his ships to destroy the Cerritos - only for them to turn their weapons on him and Douglas Station as well.

This was the first time that the audience had seen a Spacedock type station use its weapons and sadly they were found to be lacking. Frankly - these stations were meant to be ooohed and aaahed at, not fired upon. Many officers were killed in the Texas-class attack, with the Station barely able to fend these three ships off. It was only saved by the timely intervention of the Cerritos, Beckett Mariner, and the entire contingent of California-class ships.

Look at this image. Look at how they massacred my boy.
