10 Abandoned Game Of Thrones Plot Threads We Really Miss

Speaking of characters who wandered off never to be seen again...

We last saw these two all the way back in Season 3. They were traveling with Bran and Hodor for a while, but when things were getting dangerous, Bran instructed Osha to split off from them and take Rickon to Last Hearth. Bran wanted to make sure that if he didn't make it back, there was still a Stark left alive to be the heir to Winterfell. 

So where are they now? Not a clue.

 This is actually true of the books as well, where Rickon has been absent for three full books. The last time Rickon appeared in the books, Bill Clinton was president.

 There are all kinds of crazy fan theories about Rickon and his importance, because George R.R. Martin wouldn't send away the youngest Stark if he wasn't going to become important later, right? Maybe he'll sit on the Iron Throne after everyone else kills each other. Or maybe he was just eaten by White Walkers like five minutes after he last appeared.
