1. Noel Clarke - Viewpoint

Noel Clarke was one of the 2000s most prolific British filmmakers. He has written, produced, directed, and starred in countless projects on both the big and small screen. So, when he was awarded the prize for Outstanding British Contribution To Cinema by BAFTA on April 10 2021, everyone thought he deserved it. Three short weeks later, few thought he did.

Following the win, a deluge of women, more than 20, have come forward to accuse the star of countless acts of bullying, harassment, and sexual assault. ITV cancelled the final episode of his drama Viewpoint as a result. All his pending creative projects were similarly cancelled following the allegations, forcing him to quit his own production company. BAFTA also suspended both his membership and his award.

Clarke has apologized for some of his actions and promised to seek professional help for his behavioral failings, however he did this while still strongly denying any allegations of sexual or criminal misconduct.
