10 Actors You Probably Forgot Were On Lost

9. Rob McElhenney

The self-appointed Sheriff of Paddy's Pub, Ronald McDonald, was almost unrecognizable in his first appearance on the show in season 3's "Not in Portland" as Aldo. With sleeves uncut from his shirt, Rob McElhenney's small role as an Other who gets knocked out by Kate was an immediate far cry from his performance as Mac on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which was still a budding young show building its fanbase back in 2007 when he showed up on Lost. McElhenney would go on to reprise the role in the final season's "What Kate Does," humorously angry with Kate for forgetting -- just like most of the general viewership likely did -- who he was and that she had once knocked him out. By 2010, more people undoubtedly recognized McElhenney when he showed up again, but in a very busy final season, Aldo was ultimately just as easy for casual viewers to forget about as Kate had forgotten about him.
