10 Amazing TV Shows You'll Probably Never Watch Again

8. House Of Cards

House of Cards is a revolutionary piece of television. It was the first-ever Netflix Original, and if it weren't so successful, streaming shows might not have become so much of a thing, so we owe a lot to House of Cards. That doesn't mean many will want to revisit it now, though.

For starters, watching anything with Kevin Spacey is unappealing for obvious reasons, and though its unhinged political story felt entertainingly outlandish at the time, in the current political climate, it's less impactful. Lest we forget, Donald Trump is currently serving his second term in the White House, even though he's been impeached twice and is a convicted felon.

Perhaps most importantly of all, House of Cards was a show that failed disastrously by the end. The first two seasons are excellent, and although it went downhill once Frank Underwood (Spacey) became President, the following three seasons were still eminently watchable. But season six? Yikes.

After the Spacey scandal broke, he was fired from the show and his character was killed off off-screen (in the dumbest of ways, no less!). Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) took over as lead instead, and though Wright did her absolute best, this story needed Frank Underwood in some form. Without him, there wasn't really a proper ending to the story, and so this final season felt pointless, so much so that many fans didn't watch it all the way through. It was also a preternaturally dull collection of episodes, so that didn't help either.
