3. Superman's Bizarre Brawl - Superman and Lois Season 2, Episode 5
The introduction of Bizarro in Superman and Lois’ sophomore season was another bit of clever subversion from the series’ creative team. In addition to playing with expectations, the villain’s introduction meant that Superman had another antagonist that was capable of matching him blow for blow.
Their first two encounters were suitably impressive, but the Kryptonian doppelgangers’ third fight was by far the most epic. After saving the season's Big Bad Ally Alston from an incoming Bizarro, Superman comes face-to-face with his warped counterpart in an abandoned factory.
The fight is not limited in its scope as the two powerhouses’ blows send them hurtling across the factory and the heat breath/cold breath stand-off was visually impressive and solidified the fact that the opponents were equals despite being polar opposites.
The odds shift in Superman's favour when he realizes that due to him being his opposite, Bizarro's weakness may be the reverse as well and shifts the fight to a nearby X-kryptonite deposit. Here, the hero soundly defeats the villain(?) by using the alien mineral to boost his blows.
