Archer center's on it's titular character voiced by Jon H Benjamin, a childish secret agent with Mommy issues. It's a surprisingly stylish show that is simultaneously throwback Bond noir, a slick action serial, and an absurdist comedy. The characters are brilliantly voiced and are all funny (there isn't one weak character on the show).

At first the show may seem like it belongs in the adventure genre, and there's plenty of exciting action throughout, but what makes Archer special is the crazy characters that banter and fight across the bullet ridden screenscape. These characters, who spend as much time fighting each other as they do the bad guys, are the heart of the show.

At first Archer may feel a little dumb, lot's of easy jokes and crude humor. But if one watches carefully there are hundreds of references to literature, world events and high art that get lost in the manic dialogue. Whereas most shows flaunt their intelligence, Archer uses it almost flippantly, as if it is simply another layer in its complex world.

Benjamin Croll hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
