10 Best Animated TV Shows Of The 2010s
3. Archer
Archer hit a milestone of running for over 10 years and even more impressively, it shows absolutely so sign of declining in quality. The key to the show's success lies in how every season is unique and varied. It started out as a standard workplace sitcom but creator Adam Reed wanted to take a new direction by making the newer seasons anthology-based with their own self-contained stories.
And the other defining aspect of the show is the hilarious characters. Sterling Archer may seem cool and sophisticated but it's only skin deep because in reality, he is practically the anti-James Bond in terms of spies. He's a rude, selfish, sex-crazed man who only thinks of himself. We would usually hate someone so problematic and toxic but it's the candid realism that makes Archer much more interesting than your usual suave James Bond archetype.
Mix him in with the supporting ensemble of spy agents, and we are given some of the funniest dialogue exchanges. From the work-driven Lana Kane to the insecure Cyril Figgis, the brilliant mesh of personalities create a truthful atmosphere of a dysfunctional workplace environment that we've all grown to love over the last decade.
