10 Best Ever Guest Stars In The Simpsons

10. Johnny Cash As The Coyote In "El Viaje Misterioso De Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage Of Homer)"

Coyote The iconic Johnny Cash was one of the most distinct and definitive musical voices of the 20th century. In what series creator Matt Groening described as "one of the greatest coups the show has ever had," Cash lent his unmistakable bass-baritone to The Simpsons via a hallucinated space coyote. When Homer eats the insanity peppers of Queztlzacatenango at Springfield's chili cook-off, he goes on a mad spirit quest that takes him to the edge of reality itself. He finally meets his guide, a talking coyote who appears in the sky. The coyote tells Homer to find his soulmate, but hints that it may not be Marge. Homer wakes up and goes on a journey of self-discovery, that takes him from Moe's to a lighthouse at the edge of town. Eventually, he locates his one true soulmate, and it's Marge. Best line: "Are you kidding? If anything, you should get more possessions. You don't even have a computer."
