10 Best Horror Anthology TV Shows

Shudder

This Shudder exclusive acts as a continuation of the first two Creepshow films. If you were a fan of those wonderful pieces of media, then you certainly will get a kick out of this. Like most anthology horrors the series boasts an impressive cast of actors playing in outlandish and varied situations that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire journey.

The best horror anthologies are those that know when to play up to the severity of the scenario and when to allow for a goofy experience that feels cartoonish. This show blends the two perfectly, just as the original Stephen King led films did. With plenty of episodes that will keep you up at night either from freight or laughter.

One of the show's most compelling shorts has to be the House of the Head which plays significantly into the fearful concept of inescapable impending death. Mixing some horrifyingly twisted imagery with competent storytelling makes for a short experience which will stick with you for a long time after watching it. It is easily a highlight for the show.
