Though it might be more spooky than scary, Agatha All Along marks one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first forays into horror territory, and most importantly gives the ever-brilliant Kathryn Hahn another ripe opportunity to flex her acting chops.
Continuing the adventures of witch Agatha Harkness as she attempts to regain her powers, the show's strength lies in its modest scope and superbly cast ensemble.
Far away from the bloat of most recent Disney+ blockbuster TV series, the mere $40 million Agatha All Along cost meant the show was forced to get a little more creative with its storytelling and set-pieces, and the result is one of the better MCU shows of recent times.
Clearly, there are some lessons to be learned from this show's success with critics and audiences alike. Again it's hardly a terrifying sit, but as a gateway horror vehicle for younger audiences, it's an absolute blast that can also be easily enjoyed by older viewers.
