10 Best Modern Doctor Who Episodes For Halloween

The God Complex sees the Doctor, Amy and Rory end up in an 80’s hotel, which according to the Doctor, is not on Earth. It's empty, save for a small group of survivors, pulled from their various lives and dumped there to roam the corridors. It turns out that behind one of the many doors is their own personal fear. A fear that will drive them to praise and eventually seek out the beast that stalks the halls - the beast that will eventually kill them.

This episode feels like a short horror story by Stephen King, with its rooms filled with fears and a hungry, god-like beast. There’s also a scene where the TARDIS crew go into a restaurant filled with ventriloquist dummies, which feels a bit like Goosebumps. The premise is great, though more of a high concept thinker than an outright scarier - but then again, who would want to face their own worst fear?
