10 Best New TV Shows Of 2022 You Need To See (So Far)

5. Reacher

All Of Us Are Dead

After two so-so movies starring Tom Cruise, Jack Reacher is back and better than ever, this time thrown onto the small screen and played by the much more suitable Alan Ritchson.

Faithfully adapting Lee Child's hulking ex-military loner into a story based on the author's first novel, Killing Floor, Reacher is a refreshingly thrilling mystery series that puts its hero into instant danger.

There's a sense, yes, that early episodes are playing things slightly safe, the writers testing the waters to make sure they know what they're doing, but once it gets going - and Ritchson's finely tuned performance starts to steal the show - the thrills and character drama it has to offer is both gripping and addictive.

Amazon have a long history of bringing troubled, mysterious men to the small screen (think Goliath and Bosch), and Reacher seems poised to outdo them already.
