3. The Gilded Age
Yes, it's barely two hours in, but HBO's recent period drama The Gilded Age is already showing all the signs of a future classic everyone should be following along with.
Created by Downton Abbey mastermind Julian Fellowes, the series follows a young woman (Louisa Jacobson) who moves to New York City and finds herself in the middle of a high class feud instigated by an ambitious baroness (Carrie Coon).
With gloriously designed set pieces, ambitious scope and a slew of already award-worthy performances - particularly from Coon, Taissa Farmiga, and Christine Baranski - The Gilded Age has all the trappings of a series destined to be both a beloved fan favourite and a critical darling.
It's early doors, of course, but if HBO has proven anything over the years it's that they very rarely let an opportunity pass them by. The Gilded Age is in fine hands.
