One thing going for Arrested Development is the fact that very rarely is there ever a moral to the story. Its not preachy, its not looking to change the world and it certainly isnt trying to teach you a lesson. That doesnt necessarily go for most members of the Bluth family. J. Walter Weatherman turns up numerous times at the request of George Sr. to teach his children various lessons. This invariably ends with him losing his prosthetic arm in a freak accident to shock and horror the Bluth siblings. Along the way Weatherman helped them learn such valuable lessons as always leave a note, not to yell and not to teach lessons to your father. Not to mention irreparably damaging any trust they may have had for their Dad.
