3. Rita Leeds (AKA, Mr. F)

How a show managed to get not only one of the most beautiful women on the planet, but an A-List Hollywood star and get her to play a mentally retarded female, or Mr. F, is nothing short of genius. Charlize Theron is joyous in this portrayal, leaving subtle hints in every episode as to her real identity. When asked if she taught children, she replies I like to think they teach me. Not only is Rita a charming, innocent and loveable character, but her introduction brought us the marvellous town of Wee Britain. Without Leeds, we would never have gotten Michael vs Merry Poppuns or the Yellow Fang pub. Rita also brings one of the most heart wrenching moments in Arrested Development. When Michael is shown a video of her eating plastic fruit, he comes to the realisation that he can never marry her. This sad scene is quickly followed by George Michael proclaiming she really loves the grapes.
