10 Best Only Fools And Horses Episodes

1. Jolly Boys' Outing

This special is certainly the biggest episode, in that the entire cast of characters has come together for this one trip to Margate, and it's clear that everyone involved is having a ton of fun making their Jolly Boys' Outing one to remember.

It certainly was that as they managed to blow up their coach, stranding them in a packed town with little accommodation. Del and Rodney come across a nightclub where Del rediscovers a lost love of his, Raquel. They reconnect but soon finds himself in even more hot water.

The episode is a classic for a number of reasons. One being the cause-and-effect comedy being at its very best here, with even the smallest moment coming back to bite them in some way. There's also a bit of drama coming from Rodney struggling with married life and Del trying to convince Rodney to be a man about it (of course, it doesn't end well for him). And Raquel's return is a welcome one as she, more than any other of his girlfriends, felt like the one that got away and it's very satisfying to see them reconnect.

The main thing that makes it so good is that the entire cast is enjoying themselves. They all went on the rides, ate the food and did all the experiences on the seafront to make it as authentic as possible. And the commitment shows on the screen. Throw in the brilliant writing Only Fools was known for, great laughs and some emotional moments, and you've got the greatest episode ever produced.
