10 Best Rick And Morty Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

5. Toxic Rick

Throughout the series, we have seen many, many different variations of Rick. While the likes of Pickle Rick and Tiny Rick are our normal Rick taking a different form, Toxic Rick technically broke away from the character's main body and became an entity entirely on his own.

After going to an alien spa, Rick and Morty find themselves drained of their toxins, the worst parts of themselves. However, these toxins survived after the treatment, and because Rick is essentially a god he was able to find a way to communicate with the real Rick.

Personifying all of his worst traits, Toxic Rick treats Morty more like garbage than ever, has a vicious hatred for the non-toxic version of himself, and his ego is even more inflated than usual.

Surprisingly, one of the toxic traits removed from Rick was his attachment to Morty, which gave the real Rick his ticket to merging back together and saving the entire Earth from being toxified. This gave the supposedly worst version of Rick some sort of empathy and redemption, as he cared more for his grandson than the new and 'improved' Rick ever could.
