10 Best Rick And Morty Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

2. Fart

Rick and Morty Jemaine Clement
Adult Swim

Much like with Nathan Fillion, Jemaine Clement's casting alone solidified this character's place on this list, let alone its powers, the psychedelic trips and songs, and the fact that it hilariously decided to call itself Fart. There's nothing to not love about this creature.

After Rick supplied the weapon to Krombopulos Michael to kill a target, Morty took exception and ended up killing Michael himself. The gaseous being that would have been murdered had no name until Rick called it a mindreading fart, the latter part of which stuck. Morty then made it his job to ensure Fart's safety.

The mysterious creature accidentally travelled through the Promethean Nebula, and though Rick wanted to complete K. Michael's job and kill it, Morty was determined to save it. Fart and Morty struck up a relationship of sorts that brought us 'Goodbye Moon Men', possibly the best Rick and Morty song to date.

Thanks to its ability to alter the composition of atoms and essentially poop out gold, Fart was one of the most powerful and valuable things in the entire universe. It was even integral to their escape as it was able to Scarlet Witch a police offer's mind. The final twist that Fart saw the human race as a disease and would be back to 'cleanse' it was the icing on the cake for a wonderful character that Morty ended up murdering anyway.
