2. Opie Winston
Despite spending five years of his life in jail and risking his marriage for the club, Opie was constantly let down by the Sons of Anarchy. Both his wife and father were murdered by his so called 'brothers', and even after getting the closure of murdering Stahl, his life was empty.
When Jax, Tig, and Chibs were sent to prison on murder charges, Opie showed his loyalty to the club by assaulting Eli Roosevelt so he could join them. However it simply wasn't in the cards that he would ever see the outside world again.
Damon Pope demanded that one of the four Sons inside be killed, as retribution for the death of his daughter, and with nothing left to live for, Opie volunteered himself. He put up a good fight whilst heavily outnumbered, but in the end fell thanks to a blow to the back of the head with a pipe.
As far as Sons of Anarchy deaths go, there were none more shocking, more heart breaking, and more unfair than Opie Winston giving his life for the club that took everything away from him. He was too good for the Sons, and deserved far better than he got.
