10 Best South Park Celebrity Cameos

7. Elton John

Let's do a quick recap of our #10 entry.

Chef tries to sue the record company for plagiarizing one of his songs. The suit backfires. He has to pay legal fees or he'll go to prison. The boys try to help him raise money. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

This fundraising effort involves putting on a concert for Chef. A great many musicians he helped along the way show up, including Ozzy Osbourne, Rancid, DMX, Rick James, Meat Loaf, Joe Strummer, Primus, and Ween (Ween didn't know Chef, by the way). This is definitely one of South Park's most star-studded episodes (possibly THE most star-studded), and arguably the biggest star to stud the episode is the legendary Sir Elton John (who comes complete with the gap between his teeth).

John is actually the first celebrity the boys reach out to in their quest. He tells them that when he was a struggling, up-and-coming musician, Chef hooked him up with songwriter Bernie Taupin and encouraged him to refine his look, ditching his bland clothes for something more extravagant and flamboyant.

John goes on to sing a song Stan wrote for his girlfriend, Wendy, before the concert is sabotaged by the head of Capitalist Records.
