10 Best Star Trek Characters In One Scene Only

3. T'Pau

Star Trek T Pau
CBS

This one is a little bit of a cheat because T'pau is very much a character who has appeared as two different people, portrayed by different actors. One of these versions of the character appears much later, though much younger, as a Syrrannite who is searching for the teachings of Surak. This occurs during Enterprise's third season.

However, T'pau is one of the earliest characters depicting ritualistic Vulcan life that appears in Star Trek. She is introduced in the Original Series episode Amok Time. She is witness to that famous fight between Spock and Kirk and is the one who is effectively the master of ceremonies.

Portrayed by Celia Lovsky in the episode, Kirk describes her as 'all of Vulcan life in one package'. She is both a booming judge and purely logical in her actions. She is the perfect overseer for Spock's ceremony, while also serving as potentially the only one who could council him through the 'death' of his captain.
