10 Best Star Trek: Enterprise Episodes Not About The Main Cast

2. Carbon Creek

Star Trek Carbon Creek
CBS

Technically, this episode shouldn't have a place on this list. Jolene Blalock is second only to Scott Bakula in terms of star rankings on Enterprise, although she spends most of the episode not playing T'Pol. While the episode absolutely is on shaky ground when it comes to not being about the main cast, it is simply too good to ignore.

The story of three Vulcan scientists who become stranded on Earth when their vessel crashlands is a wonderful tall-tale, offered by T'Pol in a framing device with Trip and Archer. J. Paul Boehmer shines as Mistral, the Vulcan who elects to remain on Earth, even after the rescue mission arrives, owing to the fact that he simply can't miss another episode of I Love Lucy. And of course, the fact that he has feelings for a resident of Carbon Creek as well.

The episode is great fun, start to finish. The fact that T'Pol still has her grandmother's purse by the episode's close reveals to the audience at least that the story was true, even if Trip can't quite bring himself to believe it.
