10 Best TV Antiheroes Of All Time
4. Annalise Keating - How To Get Away With Murder
In Viola Davis's single greatest performance (you heard me) we find Annalise Keating, one of the most brilliant antiheroes ever created for TV.
An unbelievably talented lawyer with a knack for drawing people into her circle and demanding respect, Keating was deceitful, manipulative and had an uncanny ability to twist the facts of her cases to make sure she came out on top, no matter the odds or the cost.
If that wasn't enough, she was also a master at cover up crimes, particularly murder, and making sure that even if things went wrong she'd end up safe and out of harm's way.
Davis played Keating as almost omnipresent, able to foresee coming challenges and stop them early-on, but she also found the vulnerability and doubt within the lawyer's otherwise unflappable outward facade.
Not a woman you'd ever want to cross, Keating is about as compelling as TV characters come.
