Another throwback show! Lizzie McGuire was THE show to watch if you were a preteen in the noughties - if you wanted to be cool you had to watch it. You needed Lizzie's outfits, her hair and her iconic 00s slang - school was hell if you didn't know what happened on the newest episode of Lizzie.

Lizzie McGuire was slated to make a return with a reboot on Disney+, but when the showrunner disappeared from the project it went into development hell, where it still lingers today for several reasons. Hilary Duff states the show's drama revolves around the need for more adult content even though it's not really Disney's... brand. Needless to say, when the fans got wind of the reboot's apparent halt, they were distraught.

So when Jake Thomas, who played Lizzie's little brother on the show, suggested a virtual table read of one of the most iconic episodes, it HAD to happen! And sure enough it did. Duff posted the 40 minute long video onto her Instagram during the pandemic and the internet went mad! The episode in question was the strangely controversial but completely iconic: Between a Rock and a Bra Place. It was hilarious to hear these full grown adults read lines written for preteens and it was definitely interesting to hear about the trouble the show writers had with Disney because of the episode's content. Not to mention insightful considering what Duff had said about Disney's no-no's when it came to the reboot!
