10 Cancelled TV Shows That Totally Deserve A Ripper Street Resurrection

1. Jericho

Jericho is another show that only managed two series before the studio executives pulled the plug. Well actually it was cancelled after one but after fans sent thousands of peanuts to CBS they went ahead and brought it back for 7 more episodes. Jericho was a mature drama that explored themes such as the importance of family and how society can change when faced with adversity. Taking place in a small town that that has survived a nuclear attack on major cities throughout the United States, the characters have to face a variety of hardships as they fight to survive in the post-apocalyptic worlds. It became gradually more complex as the plot developed, and mysteries that were left to the imagination of the viewer in the first series began to be slowly revealed throughout he second series. As the conspiracy was uncovered the drama intensified and the conflict escalated, and audiences were left hooked. The series still has an incredibly strong following of fans who are desperate to have the unanswered questions finally put to rest. The writers have already created several comic books to continue the story so the template for further episodes is ready, and everything is in place for a revival if someone stumps up the cash.
