Going off the same point as the previous entry, this character lived the right amount of time, but her death's placement was a strange decision. Although season eight was riddled with baffling choices, this one sticks out like a sore thumb, as Daenerys was in many ways the leading character of the show - alongside Jon - so to see her die at the halfway point of the final episode just felt wrong.

There was likely a lot of desire to see Dany in the last outing of the series, but she should have died in the previous episode, as that way the character's demise would have been more memorable. When thinking of the last chapter of the show, you probably remember the disappointing climax far more than this sequence, which robs Dany of an important death.

This character died like an afterthought, thanks to the fact that she didn't get to close an episode. The writers could have made an effort to see her die in the previous outing, with the final chapter centring on the consequences. Instead of this, fans got to enjoy watching Arya pet a horse for what felt like an eternity, lucky them.
