9. Could Captain Teva Be Speaking To A Key New Republic Player?
Another piece of deceptive editing mid-trailer may just be setting the stage for one hell of an epic New Republic cameo.
With the events of The Mandalorian only taking place a few years after the Battle of Endor, there's every chance New Republic Captain Teva is delivering the statement of "there's something dangerous happening out there. And by the time it becomes big enough for you to act, it'll be too late" to the first chancellor of the New Republic Senate, Mon Mothma, in this new trailer.
After showing up briefly on a few other occasions over the years, Genevieve O'Reilly finally took centre stage for much of the recent brilliance that was Andor. So, having her once again dust off her Mothma gown for a cameo here as Teva attempts to warn her of an incoming danger - possibly First Order related - feels like a bit of a no-brainer if the opportunity to infuse her into this Mandalorian tale presented itself in the story.
And perhaps Teva's fears of this new evil in the galaxy were brought about after a conversation with this chap...
