10 DC Characters That Need A TV Show

1. Blue Beetle

DC Comics

The Blue Beetle is one of DC's most important heroes, no matter which version you're talking about. Sure, he didn't start off in DC, instead getting his start in Fox Comics, then moving on to Charlton, and THEN being bought up by DC. But when DC had Ted Kord, they didn't waste him. He had his own series, got a spot on the only main Justice League team working at the time (Justice League International), and even starred in the prequel to the big sequel to Crisis on Infinite Earths: Countdown to Infinite Crisis.

So the Blue Beetle has not been wasted in the comic world, so why should he be in the world of television. And sure enough, Ted's successor, Jaime, has been almost everywhere since first showing up, from Batman: The Brave And The Bold, to Young Justice.

If DC Universe wants to use a more recognizable hero, who just hasn't had his chance to really shine by starring in his own show, then there is no question of who they should go with. Whether it be Dan Garrett, Ted Kord, or Jaime Reyes, it's high time the Blue Beetle got the awesome show he deserves.
