10 DC Characters That Need A TV Show

2. Batgirl (Stephanie Brown)

Lots of folks have worn the cowl as Batgirl before and after Barbara Gordon. But since we don't really talk about the "before" part of that one, we're gonna instead focus on one of the best members of the bat family to wear the mantle of Batgirl: Stephanie Brown.

Though she hasn't exactly been Batgirl for a while (Flashpoint Paradox: because who needs character development amirite?), Stephanie headlined one of the absolute best Batgirl runs in the history of the character, so she definitely hasn't been forgotten.

The daughter of D-list villain Cluemaster, Stephanie joined up with the Bat family when she couldn't take her father's villainy any longer. A show about Steph would be a very different, refreshing beast from your typical Batman fair. Snarky, sassy, and always with a joke at the ready, it's easy to peg Steph as being incapable of taking anything seriously. But like her boyfriend Tim Drake, underneath that bluster is a truly remarkable mind and capable fighter. She's different from pretty much every member of the bat family, which is what makes her so popular, and what would make a show starring her so entertaining.

Plus, it would be a great way to make amends for Young Justice Outsiders, where she showed up MAYBE 3 times, never saying a word.
