10 DC Comics Heroes Who Still Need To Appear In The Arrowverse
9. The Spectre
Which Show? Constantine (Animated)/Arrow
NBC's Constantine turned out to be a one-season wonder back in 2014, but luckily for its fans its central character has lived on. While we are grateful for Matt Ryan's John Constantine being folded into the Arrowverse via an episode of Arrow season four, it's still a shame that other characters from his solo series have been jettisoned without any resolution.
Specifically, Constantine viewers might remember that detective Jim Corrigan was a recurring character on the show (as played by Guardians of the Galaxy's Emmett Scanlan). In the comics, Corrigan is the alter ego of the supernatural superhero the Spectre. Though a brief vision hinted at his eventual transformation, the short life of the series ensured things never got that far.
This is where Arrow needs to take up the reigns of this promising character and introduce the Spectre properly. It's either that or feature him in the upcoming Constantine animated series.
And while they're at, they might as well chuck in Doctor Fate as well, after his helmet was glimpsed in Constantine's pilot.
