10 Deaths That Would Ruin Game Of Thrones

Our fantastical ride through the savage, political world of Westeros just wouldn’t be as fun.

If you€™re an ardent fan of Game of Thrones, you€™ve no doubt already learned the harsh lesson of never growing attached to your favorite characters. Just when they€™ve begun to endear themselves to the audience, they€™re snatched away from us in the most brutally violent ways imaginable. The shock Of Ned Stark€™s beheading in season one had barely worn off when the ghastly events of the notorious red wedding occurred. In a world virtually devoid of actual heroes, where typical storytelling tropes like good always triumphing over evil do not apply, finding someone to root for whose journey you enjoy is important. Many of the show€™s most intriguing figures have all met their demise far too soon for the audience€™s liking. Take Joffrey for instance. The young prince was a truly despicable human being, a sociopath with zero redeeming qualities. There wasn€™t a single viewer who didn€™t want to punch him in his smug little face until their fist went through the back of his skull, but that didn€™t mean we were ready for him to die. It€™s an interesting feeling being torn between wanting a character to meet a painful expiration yet hoping for them to hang around for reasons of dramatic tension. And that€™s the exact case with most of the characters on this list. They may not all be likeable, in fact some of them are downright hideously evil, but their presence on the show is paramount for our enjoyment. Without them, our fantastical ride through the savage, political world of Westeros just wouldn€™t be as fun. Bear in mind this article is being written with zero knowledge of what happens in the books. This is only analysis of the show and what has transpired thus far. So with that being said, let's take a look at 10 Game Of Thrones Characters Whose Deaths Would Ruin The Show.
