10 Doctor Who Villains Who Should Return For Russell T Davies' New Series 14

3. The Trickster

While not entirely a Doctor Who villain, The Trickster is one of Russell T Davies' greatest creations. A creature that exists only to cause chaos, The Trickster has meddled in The Doctor's life again and again, but we've yet to see him in the original series.

He has caused anarchy in the life of Sarah Jane Smith, so much so that the Tenth Doctor had to step in. There is so much lore surrounding the Trickster and his abilities.

The Trickster has the power to warp reality and change timelines, something that would be fascinating to see play out in New Who. Maybe we could get an episode in which The Doctor fails to save Gallifrey?

We have had a glimpse of this in the Series 4 episode Turn Left, but there was no Trickster to be seen in that episode. The Trickster could easily be the main antagonist of Series 14. Having The Doctor face off with The Trickster could make a nice change from The Master, while also making for some unique episode concepts.
