10 Extremely Talented TV Actors Who Don't Get The Credit They Deserve

7. Chris Pratt

Chris Parks It isn't always easy to make the profoundly stupid come off as endearing, but Chris Pratt manages to pull it off. I realize that doesn't totally sound like a compliment, but I genuinely mean it as one. He plays Andy on Parks and Recreation, and he takes this idiot man child and turns him into someone you root for every step of the way. Whether he's living in a pit outside his ex-girlfriend's house, or coming up with new names for his band Mouse Rat, or impulsively marrying an intern in local government, you're with him. A lot of it has to be put down to the tremendous amount of heart that he brings to the role -- Andy might not always do the right thing, but his heart is in the right place. Which has to count for something, right? There are a lot of members of the Parks and Rec cast that get a lot of attention, from Amy Poehler to Nick Offerman to Aubrey Plaza. But for some reason, Chris Pratt never gets mentioned very often. Which is super dumb, because any good comedic actor will take you that it takes a lot of skill to come off that stupid.
