My Best Moment is as funny as it is touching, like all great Scrubs episodes are. One criticism is that it doesn’t necessarily put Christmas front and centre the way a lot of others here do. However, familiar Christmas themes like family values do take the limelight, while the season itself is a constant presence in the background.

The ‘black family at the movies’ trope that JD imagines is particularly funny, as Todd’s resurrection five on a flatlined patient. Perhaps best though is seeing Dr Cox in a wacky fantasy the way we normally see JD. After failing to get a scrunched up paper ball into the trash, he Heimlichs gum out of a choking man’s mouth and into another person’s mouth, before then Heimliching it into the bin.
