8. Mac Day (Season 9 - Episode 5)
Sunny attracts a number of fantastic, outlandish guest stars (including recently-deceased wrestling legend, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper). One of the most successful guest roles is played to perfection by Sean William Scott, portraying Mac's charming, easygoing cousin 'Country Mac'. He's an instantly likeable character, one entirely at odds with the gang's usual frantic energy and destructive tendencies. Another major reason for the episode's success is its concept. The idea of each main character having a day dedicated entirely to themselves is brilliant, and one which could definitely be revisited in a later season with absolutely no fan complaints. Several classic Mac tropes are present, including his shoddy 'Project Badass' stunt videos, his desire to be viewed as a martial arts expert, and his shoddy (but devout) grasp of Catholicism. There's also another overt tease of his potential homosexuality, as he forces the gang to oil up a fleet of bodybuilders - supposedly to marvel at God's creation of mankind. This is played brilliantly straight by Country Mac, who reveals his own homosexuality with absolutely no drama or insecurity.
