5. Miss Martian
Miss Martian seemed like the perfect character to appear on Supergirl, and fans were excited when it was announced that Sharon Leal would be playing the part of M'Gann M'Orzz in season two. Unfortunately, the show completed wasted the opportunity to add a really interesting new personality to the cast.
Supergirl did keep one significant part of M'Gann's story - the fact that she masquerades as a Green Martian when she in fact a White Martian, the race that wiped out J'onn's people.
However, it also aged up the character and totally changed her relationship with Martian Manhunter. Traditionally, Miss Martian pretends to be his niece and the pair have a close, familial bond. In Supergirl, J'Onn and M'Gann are made into love interests. It's just plain weird to see these two characters in a romance, and to make matters worse their relationship is underwritten anyway.
Young Justice viewers know how great M'Gann can be when adapted faithfully, so it's a shame that Supergirl went in such a massively different direction and then didn't even manage to follow that through in a satisfying way.
