Supernatural is one of those show's with a reputation that far precedes it.
With its colossal die-hard fanbase so outspoken, it's sometimes easy to forget just how excellent Supernatural really is.
Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester, Supernatural follows the two brothers as they drive around saving people and hunting things.
It also just happens to feature countless mythological beings, creatures from folklore and basically anything, well, supernatural, but it's far more than just a horror-drama. There's more than a little unexpected comedy, thanks in no small part to the chemistry of its two leads.
The CW's shows usually feature the latest in current pop, but they allowed Supernatural to buck that trend by giving it a healthy dose of good old rock 'n' roll.
Supernatural features music from practically every classic rock band you can think of, with songs by the likes of AC/DC, Kansas, Grand Funk Railroad, Blue Oyster Cult, Rush and Bad Company, just to name a few.
