10 Most Inglorious TV Character Deaths (After The Actor Left The Show)

6. Jonny Keogh - Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps

Well this is clearly the most obscure entry on the list. Two Pints was a BBC sitcom that had a ludicrously long nine series run, by the end of which the majority of the main cast had left. To put it bluntly Two Pints was not high quality television, at least in my case it was one of those shows you watch as a teenager and years later wonder what in the hell you ever saw in it. Will Mellor had been a soap star prior to getting his role in the series, but the most recognisable face was probably that of Ralph Little, who had not long finished portraying Antony Royle in fellow BBC sitcom The Royle Family upon taking the role of Jonny Keogh. The show revolved around Jonny, his love interest Janet and their friends Louise, Donna and Mellor's character Gaz.It seemed to run out of steam after a few series but remarkably it continued for a number of years, but it would soon do so without Jonny. Ralph Little decided to leave the show after the sixth series and it was decided that his departure would mean the death of Jonny. Seemingly the writers were fans of Happy Days, because much in the way Fonzy literally jumped the shark, we hear that off screen Jonny had attempted to do the same, only to fail and be eaten by it. It was half-arsed, but then again, I guess that was probably the point.
